A Roster With Deep Expertise
Kurt Hines
CEO & Founding Member
Kurt is a dedicated leader in creating, building and managing differentiated businesses and propositions for the insurance industry, leveraging 30+ years of well-rounded experience in leadership, underwriting, operational, sales and technical roles.
Kurt was most recently CUO for EverSports & Entertainment Insurance (an Everest Insurance company) responsible for all underwriting activities for a leading provider of insurance for the sports, leisure and entertainment industries. In that time, helped lead organization to Top 3 market in Sports and Leisure segments, and Top 10 in Entertainment, and the team was voted Everest Insurance “Underwriting Team of the Year” for 2021.
Prior to that, Kurt was Senior Vice President for Field Underwriting at Philadelphia Insurance Companies. He also spent 17 years at Zurich in a variety of roles, ranging from actuarial to underwriting to distribution. Kurt began his career as an actuary and holds the Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society(FCAS) designation.
He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Business majoring in actuarial science. He also earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. He and his family reside in the Indianapolis area.
Ariana Miller
AVP & Founding Member
Ariana (Ari) Miller is a seasoned professional in insurance brokering and underwriting, specializing in the entertainment sector. She launched her career at Amwins in 2019 as an Associate Underwriter in surplus lines, where she honed her skills in risk assessment and client service. Ari later joined Take1 Insurance, advancing from New Business Underwriter & Brokerage to Account Executive Team Manager. In this role, she managed a $22M book of business, cultivated strong carrier and agent relationships, and delivered customized solutions for complex entertainment risks.
Ari’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and Associate Degrees in Business Administration, Math and Science, and Behavioral Sciences from Antelope Valley College. She also holds her Resident & Non-Resident Property & Casualty license.
Known for her dedication to clients and her ability to navigate complex risks, Ari continues to expand her expertise and build meaningful relationships within the industry.
